Education

Education is the foundation for the existence of the Tennessee Business Travel Association. We were founded in 1994 by a small group of travel industry leaders that wanted to raise the knowledge and professionalism of those individuals whose careers were in managing or selling travel related services. Each of our monthly meetings is designed to provide current, leading edge information and knowledge sharing among our membership, or to create a comfortable social environment where networking and peer recognition can be accomplished informally.

TBTA supports the pursuit of professional certification through the Global Business Travel Association, their programs, and their educational offerings.   Through our association with GBTA, and therefore with IBTM, and CPC (Chapter Presidents Council), we are able to offer educational scholarships for a variety of programs.  Please access the information below for additional details.

Training

As an affiliate of the Global Business Travel Association, TBTA supports and recognizes the professional education programs they offer.

GBTA Webinars

GBTA Webinars are web-based distance learning and educational programs that allow GBTA Members and Chapter Members to participate in live interactive forums on business travel industry issues and simultaneously view presentations. Each GBTA Webinar program runs up to 60 minutes in length. A host moderator fields questions or comments from the participants and directs them to the presenter, allowing for group interaction and feedback.
